Three Presentations to Choose!

The below presentations are all available for your group!

Is it REALLY a Brick Wall?

Genealogists sometimes mistakenly believe they have hit a brick wall in their research. That feeling can cause them to give up too soon and accept defeat before they should. They often overlook more avenues to explore just because they missed the clues that they are NOT yet stuck.

This session offers a deeper understanding of what a brick wall is (and is not) so that you know exactly how to tackle it. This presentation helps you determine if you are truly stuck, reviews the most common causes of these roadblocks, and shares tips and tricks to defeat them.

This session empowers researchers with basic knowledge and understanding of tough research problems!

A New Strategy for Brick Walls!

Ever feel like you are engulfed by a pile of research? Do you ever think, “If I could just get organized, I could solve this mystery?” If so, this presentation is for you!

This session explains why complex genealogy problems feel overwhelming and how to overcome it through a new way of organizing. You will see a technique that:

  • handles information in a new way to see more links and relationships
  • allows you to see all your research at one glance
  • organizes your research for you (yes, really!)
  • simplifies all the data
  • shows you any gaps, errors, and conflicts
  • automatically creates a narrative outline (and eliminates writers’ block!)
  • helps you plan and brainstorm your way to success

Stay Focused, Find Answers

Staying focused while working on genealogy mysteries is key to finding answers, but it can be challenging with so much information out there to sort through. Plus, life's day-to-day distractions (chores, work, social activities) can also cause a researcher to lose train of thought.

This presentation offers practical tips and tricks to stay on track. Attendees will hear ways to  always follow through to uncover those elusive answers. Learn about creating effective to-do lists, managing distractions, and organizing your research project.

This session equips you to tackle tough research questions with confidence!

Not a Sales Pitch!

The presentations are not sales pitches. Attendees do not need the Brick Wall Buster Cards for any presentation. Presentations assume that every attendee will make their own set of cards for free. You'll simply learn about the topics, techniques, and strategies, why they work, and how you can use the methods for yourself.
